Combatting Perfectionism and the "One Big Effort"

Western society does not teach people "the paradox."

What is the paradox?

The paradox is the balance of the divine feminine and the divine masculine.

The basic idea that intuition guides you through life, and then you must create by showing up, thump thump, one foot in front of the other.

It is "this" and it is "that."

It is do and it is also "sit the fuck down and breathe."

Imperfections, curiosity, wonder, and the chipping away at the block is not taught in our schools. Perfectionism is. Perfectionism and STANDARDIZATION. (This is deliberate, to make sure we all fall in line to keep the corporate machine churnin' away.)

Perfectionism is "the grade" we want to receive. We want to make sure we're doing it right and well. We are taught "action = reward" in school and our corporate job market mimics that.

For your entire life you've been taught that every effort you put forward must be big, massive, "good," and exact by someone else's definition.

Waiting until the "good effort" or the "good idea" comes along before taking inspired action on your intuitive guidance translates to yourself (and thereby the world) as paralysis, stagnancy, and inactivity.
