Assume You’re Right, Annnnnddd….
....annnnd.
OK, so I'm gonna simplify an advanced concept. It's gonna make you excited because I'm about to give you, here, for free, the secret to everything you want.
Everything you want with relationship to change, this is it:
"Assume you're right. And. Assume you're not."
Let me break it down:
We have a paradoxical relationship in our existence between our feminine intuitive and our masculine "thump thump."
The feminine is what you know to be your path, the thing that you know above everything is for you. Everyone has this, at the base of everything.
(If you're lost on what it is, think back to what personality trait you got made fun of for as a child. That's probably a good place to start. Your light intimidates the hell out of people.)
My feminine intuitive, for example, always said I was not to work for other people. (And if I had to, I was gonna be as detached as possible and do it as little as possible.) That's why I never got a job in corporate America and resented every employer I ever had. I was going against me.
I was right.
Now, for the masculine :: thump thump ::
We can want things for ourselves, but that's only half of what matters. The other half is the masculine "thump thump."
This is the part where you assume you're wrong. Because if you don't have something and someone else does, your strategy is probably off.
Now, no two people are going to have the exact same strategy. Every person is going to be slightly different than the others. However we have fundamental sameness at the base. Like architecture, the SCIENCE that holds up a great big building is loaded with sameness. Doesn't matter how the building looks- you need to understand the fundamentals.
Feminine intuitive: I like distance running and want to do it.
Masculine thump thump: Understand the science of the body to a crazy degree so I can maximize running economy
Feminine intuitive: I want to start a business
Masculine thump thump: Learn about business. Learn as much as you can. Don't take business advice from broke people.
The specifics are always gonna be you, like nobody does my shit quite the way I do. My voice is my voice. But there is shit that I had to learn about strategy.
And I learned that by mimicking others.
Watching the people I wanted to be like- empowered people- people who were doing it well.
What do they do and how do they think?
When I learned about the science of my body for example, I didn't just learn some bullshit to be "thin." I learned how this VEHICLE I've been carrying around for decades actually operated.
Like we don't throw away the owner's manual for our cars?! But here we are not knowing a thing about our gut health. Or about our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. IFDK. I didn't.
So, assume you're right (your life's direction is yours and yours only) and assume you're wrong (strategy is important.)
